The District’s intent is to give students an idea of what those particular careers might be like, as well as teach additional teamwork, interviewing and presentation skills that will help make them successful.

Each semester the District selects one project management and one engineering student from resumes submitted by local area high schools.

Selected students rotate through various disciplines within the District, working with a lead mentor as well as others supporting the program. Over the course of the semester-long internships, the students complete a capstone project in engineering or project management.
