The Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM) awarded a firm fixed price construction contract for the construction of five new Multi-functional warehouses at the 35th Brigade in Kuwait on June 6, 2024.

The Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM) awarded a firm fixed price construction contract for the construction of five new Multi-functional warehouses at the 35^th Brigade in Kuwait on June 6, 2024.

Contract Number W912ER24C0005 was awarded to Alghanim International General Trading and Contracting Company for $39,993,492.52.

The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and necessary supplies to construct five new pre-engineered metal buildings system warehouses at the 35^th Armor Brigade base, Kuwait.  The project will consist of five identical warehouses approximately 7,800 square meters, consisting of open bay storage areas for the M1A2K tanks, maintenance bays with a bridge crane and administrative office areas for approximately 50 personnel.  Each warehouse is to be constructed for each of the M1A2K Armored Battalions with the 35^th Brigade (2^nd, 7^th, 8^th, 9^th,  and 55^th Battalions).

The period of performance is 723 days from issuance of notice-to-proceed.
