The Transatlantic Middle East District awarded a contract for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense P-563 Program on June 27, 2023.

The Single Award Task Order Contract W912ER23D0009 was awarded to TECNICA Y PROYECTOS TYPSA FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES (TYPSA) for $11,403,665.23.

TYPSA will be responsible for data collection, standard operating procedures for data management, establishing a SharePoint page, maintaining all Geographic Information Systems (GIS) requirements, including a GIS database, a geotechnical survey work summary, including a geotechnical investigation plan, dig permit applications, survey requirements, field tests, sampling of soil and rock, appropriate lab tests, and geotechnical reports. The contractor will also delve into phase 1 traffic research and code analysis will working with local governments and write up a traffic phase 1 final report with recommendations on how to proceed. They will also develop a P-563 existing conditions report. There is a supplemental requirement of a value engineering planning narrative as well as a risk management plan.

The period of performance is 270 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
