Middle East District awards contract for Naval Support Activity, Bahrain

The Transatlantic Middle East District (CETAM) awarded the Navy P974 Electrical Systems Upgrade contract March 24 to Contrack Watts Inc. for $34,030,929.00.  This project constructs services to support operational requirements at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain by providing a more resilient medium-voltage distribution system.

USACE is supporting the U.S. Navy with Facilities and Infrastructure to support mission requirements in the C5I complex, which is home to U.S Naval Forces Central Command/U.S. 5th Fleet Headquarters (NAVCENT/C5F HQ) and components as a primary communications center and network hub providing services throughout the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR).

The period of performance is March 24, 2022 to Oct. 19, 2024.
