Middle East District awards Task Order for Egyptian Air Base

The Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM) awarded a task order for an F-16 maintenance hangar for the Egyptian Air Force at Marsa Matrouh Air Base.

The Maintenance Hangar is composed of a single story hangar bay for four aircrafts with the total overall hangar size of 6,608 meters squared total. The Hangar is used for maintenance and repair of up to four F-16 - Block 52 Type aircraft. Included in this Hangar are conference, administrative support spaces and maintenance shops for Avionics, PMEL, Hydraulic & Pneumatic, Non-Destructive Testing (NDI), Electrical, Ejection, Engines Flight Line, Wheel & Tire, Environmental, Structural Frame Repair, Battery, Welding and Corrosion Control.

The task order number W912ER22F0059 under contract number W912ER-17-D-0004 was awarded March 24, in the amount of  $24,750,303.05 with options of $2,089,614.15 for total cumulative amount of $26,839,917.20. The contractor is American International Contractors, Inc.

The period of performance is 921 calendar days from Issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
