TAM awards contract for Care and Preservation Facility, Kuwait

The Middle East District awarded a contract for Care and Preservation facility for Army Central Command at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

The facility will provide current modern maintenance operations in the area of responsibility Army stock as well as the ability to retro-grade equipment and materiel rotating in from Iraq and Afghanistan prior to being re-introduced into main component stock or taken out of stock.

Contract number W912ER19C0018, awarded for $25,397,036.90, was awarded to MVL USA, Inc.

The period of performance is 580 calendar days from Contract Award Notice (30 September 2019 - 02 May 2021.

The Middle East District is responsible for providing engineering, construction, and related services in the Middle East, Central Asia, and other areas as required. Its work includes designing and constructing facilities for use by U.S. forces, performing engineering activities for other U.S. government and foreign agencies, and providing operations and maintenance services for various customers. In addition, the district provides project management, engineering, contracting and support services to the USACE district in Afghanistan.
