Middle East District Awards Contract for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, MH-60R Helicopter Facilities and Infrastructure, Saudi Arabia

WINCHESTER, Va. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District awarded a contract to Al-Ayuni Investment and Contracting Company, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia March 5, for  the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) MH-60R Helicopter  Facilities and Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

 The Royal Saudi Naval Forces currently have rotary wing operations at the Jubail Naval Air Base, the awarded contract will enhance the base operations capabilities to support, training and operate the MH60R Helicopters and their current rotary wing platforms.

Contract Number W912ER-17-B-0001 was awarded for $93,730,717 with a performance period of 1,065 calendar days from notice to proceed.

The Middle East District provides engineering, construction and related services in the Middle East, Central Asia and other areas. Its work includes designing and constructing facilities for use by U.S. forces, performing engineering activities for other U.S. government and foreign agencies, and providing operations and maintenance services for various customers. In addition, the District provides project management, engineering, contracting and support services to USACE districts in Afghanistan.
