A deployment video created aboard the USS Arlington (LPD 24) depicting the travels and operations conducted by the Arlington and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit as they deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operation under the command and control of Task Force 61/2 from March to October 2022. The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests. Mission

The Middle East District provides engineering, design, construction execution, and related services and support to mission partners in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests; on order, supports contingency operations.

 

The Middle East District is a subordinate element of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
