Veterans are the men and women who have honorably served in the armed forces of the United States to fight for and defend freedom. Each veteran has a unique story about his or her time in the service. Our ongoing video series, "Veteran Heroes," aims to highlight those who work for the U.S. Army in Japan.
For this installment, we spoke with Randy Benton, special events coordinator for Camp Zama's MWR, who shared his experiences in the Air Force as an airplane fuel system mechanic, and his transition to being an MWR employee.

The Middle East District provides engineering, design, construction execution, and related services and support to mission partners in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests; on order, supports contingency operations.

 

The Middle East District is a subordinate element of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
