U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, participate in multiple different training scenarios at the Berry M. Goldwater Ranges near Imperial, California, Jan. 29, 2024.The senior instructors of VMM-161 developed training scenarios that spanned both day and night, these operations simulated inserting a raid force into enemy territory during the day and returning at night to extract the raid force post mission completion to include various military operations. Mission

The Middle East District provides engineering, design, construction execution, and related services and support to mission partners in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests; on order, supports contingency operations.

 

The Middle East District is a subordinate element of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
