NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Sept. 11, 2024) Personnel aboard Naval Support Activity Souda Bay reflected on the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, with a remembrance run and remembrance ceremony. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation that enables and supports U.S., allied, coalition, and partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility. Mission

The Middle East District provides engineering, design, construction execution, and related services and support to mission partners in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests; on order, supports contingency operations.

 

The Middle East District is a subordinate element of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
