U.S. Marines and Sailors with 3rd Marine Logistics Group (3rd MLG) participate in the 67th anniversary field meet at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, April 25, 2025. Marines and sailors across the 3rd MLG took part in a series of competitive physical events to commemorate the unit’s 67th anniversary, while also increasing morale and strengthening esprit de corps. Since 1958, the 3rd MLG has provided logistical support to the III Marine Expeditionary Force, supporting training and operations alongside regional partners and allies in the Indo-Pacific region. Mission

The Middle East District provides engineering, design, construction execution, and related services and support to mission partners in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests; on order, supports contingency operations.

 

The Middle East District is a subordinate element of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
