Hawaii's 93rd Civil Support Team Collaborate with Honolulu Fire Fighters during sweep exercise

The 93rd Civil Support Team (CST), Hawaii Army National Guard, alongside the Honolulu Fire Department and 85th CST out of Utah all participated in a real world exercise at Kalaeloa, Hawaii, June 6th, 2024. The goal of the exercise was to build working relationships and develop interoperability between multiple government agencies. Key personnel wore hazmat suits and used scanning equipment to sweep staged buildings to search for and identify notional chemical, biological, radiological/nuclear and explosive hazards. The Middle East District provides engineering, design, construction execution, and related services and support to mission partners in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests; on order, supports contingency operations.

 

The Middle East District is a subordinate element of the Transatlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
