A C-17 Globemaster III, flown by a 3rd Airlift Squadron aircrew, takes off from Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, May 6, 2020, to conduct a training mission and support a flyby event for Delaware COVID-19 responders. Dover AFB conducted the flyby in a show of support for the brave Americans at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, which included the cities of Christiana, Dover, Milford, Lewes and Seaford, Delaware. Due to weather and significant risk to flight safety, the aircraft was diverted back to Dover AFB and the flyby was discontinued following its pass over Dover. (U.S. Air Force video by Tech. Sgt.
