TAM awards contract for facilities in Qatar

The Middle East District awarded a contract consolidated facilities in Qatar on Sept. 26, 2019 for the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center.

Contract number W912ER19C0016 was awarded for $13,890,460 to MVL USA, INC.

The scope of work consists of the construction of a 4,000 square meter, single story squadron operations facility at Al Udeid Air Base, State of Qatar. This administrative facility will house six rotational flying squadrons and have operational space for planning, briefing and supporting Operations Group personnel.

The period of performance is 450 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The Middle East District is responsible for providing engineering, construction, and related services in the Middle East, Central Asia, and other areas as required. Its work includes designing and constructing facilities for use by U.S. forces, performing engineering activities for other U.S. government and foreign agencies, and providing operations and maintenance services for various customers. In addition, the district provides project management, engineering, contracting and support services to the USACE district in Afghanistan.
