TAM awards contract for Logistics Station Mobilization, Kuwait

The Middle East District awarded a contract for Ras Al Ard Logistics Station Mobilization to support the Kuwait Navy on 18 September.

 

The contract, number W912ER19C0013, was awarded to TOA Corporation for $12,250,000. This contract is the first phase of larger FMS (foreign military sales) program to construct a new harbor and replenishment facility for Kuwait’s Navy. This contract involves initial mobilization, securing the site, demolition of existing facilities, and construction of temporary provisions to support future design and construction activities.

 

Period of performance is 17 September 2019 to 16 September 2020.

 

The Middle East District is responsible for providing engineering, construction, and related services in the Middle East, Central Asia, and other areas as required. Its work includes designing and constructing facilities for use by U.S. forces, performing engineering activities for other U.S. government and foreign agencies, and providing operations and maintenance services for various customers. In addition, the district provides project management, engineering, contracting and support services to the USACE district in Afghanistan.
